I debated about six months before taking the plunge and treating myself with this vacuum. Have had it three years now, and it still operates like new.
Before getting this SEBO, I was buying a new vacuum for around $100-$150 almost every year. At first the cheap vacuum worked great, loud but great. A year later it would need repair costing more than it was worth, and I'd buy a new one.
