We're happy with this unit which we hadn't heard about prior to buying a Dyson which we subsequently returned because it leaked both air and dust when we lifted the vac while it was running.
We've been very happy with the Miele so far, particularly given that it blows HEPA-filtered exhaust upwards, rather than along the floor (with units that blow air along the floor, they disturb dust that we haven't had a chance to vacuum yet).
It is also lightweight, yet seems sturdy (so far, we have only had it a month) and has a lot of sucking power.
