I just purchased this vacuum after researching to find the quietest vacuum I could. I definitely made the right choice! The vacuum is so quiet and it sucks up dirt and pet fur great even on the lowest setting. I purchased other brand canisters in the past and they were very loud and very cheaply made (granted I didn't spend as much as I did on this one either).
