Did a fair amount of research before buying the Hoover WindTunnel and decided this one should work. Had a Rainbow that I loved but it is 20 years old and I do not have access to good repair service here in Kodiak so had purchased an upright but it was not doing a good job at all so tossed that as soon as the Hoover got here. I have a border collie who sheds a lot and this vacuum is able to keep up with her. So far I am extremely pleased and am even happier that my neighbor told me about Amazon as I paid $100 less with them plus they shipped free which is truly something as many manufacturers seem to think Alaska is a foreign country and gouge us on the shipping costs.
