I bought this vacuum about 8 months ago. It has has normal household use. It was sitting in an upright position ( as it is shown in the pictures on the website) and fell over. The piece that holds the hose to the cannister broke off. To fix it you have to buy the whole hose and handle to the tune of $100.00! I was told by Panasonic that this part was not covered on the warrenty, only the motor was. I was very dissapoined. This vacuum is not cheap, it should al lest be covered by the companies warrenty!
